The exhibition "Futuropolis"
The problems faced by cities, the scale of their impact on the population or the forms of urbanization have changed over time. However, attempts to create a blueprint for an ideal model were present in almost all eras. Among them were not only theories of building entire cities or individual neighborhoods, but also transportation solutions or specific amenities in the area of interior design.
The exhibition "Futuropolis" presents the most daring, and on the other hand firmly rooted in a given reality, achievable projects. The concepts presented in the exhibition are only a slice of the ideas and realizations that were created. Each of these projects is worth filtering through the main idea behind it, as a city should not be considered without its context and the philosophy behind its creation.
After all, knowledge of ideal cities and the values that created them allows one to reflect on contemporary urbanization problems.
